1. Who or what inspired you to become a performer? My dad. I grew up a rock drummer’s daughter. It was a gloriously fun childhood traveling on the road with him and my mom. I was one of the privileged few to see KISS without their makeup, see The Jackson 5 in the recording studio, and think "back East" was actually a country. Lol I began singing on stage at the age of 7.

2. Who haven't you worked with that you would like to? Ah…my bucket list! Is it redundant to say Brad Pitt??? Lol Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep, Clive Owen, Cate Blanchett, Joseph Fiennes, Steve Buscemi, Mark Wahlberg, Ron Howard, Ed Weinberger, and Albert Brooks. Can you see my passion for drama and my love of comedy???

What was the best part about making this film? Roger Corman, Michael Madsen, and Kauai :) I had a blast filming this genre. I want to do more. I have always loved Creature Features and Roger Corman is the right of passage. Add in fighting with Michael Madsen on the beautiful island of Kauai…the experience will remain a highlight in my career…

4. What do you hope audiences come away with after seeing "Piranhaconda"? …That I live at the end for the sequel! Lol Our hope as a film company is that we made entertainment the whole family enjoyed. There’s a little something for dad… ;) for mom…and most definitely the kids.

5. What other projects do you have coming up that you can tell us about? The next project on my slate list premieres August 9th. It is the first ever Emmy Nominated Web-series, "The Bay." I am proud to be part of the ensemble cast "The Darkside of the Bay - The summer special." Producer/Director Gregori J. Martin wrote me a gutsy role. I play the street walking prostitute, "Orchid," who crosses paths with the gorgeous Kristos Andrews. It is a physically demanding role, which I love.

6. What is your favorite part of making a film/TV series? Where is your favorite place to rehearse on your own? The energy force I feel On Set or On Stage is overcoming, the lights, camera, "Action"…ignite the butterflies to take me to new heights in a role. It is my playground. I treasure it.

Seven years of Soap Opera work have honed my skill to memorize dialogue. I make sure to read my material right before going to bed, so it’s the last thoughts before drifting off to sleep. I believe I subconsciously rehearse the scenes as I sleep. When the alarm sounds, I run through it all in my mind before getting up. It’s all confidence…I know that I know it…and then you let it go, listen and explore.

Adam Rothenberg and Terri Ivens at "All My Children" Tower Records Event 20057. We first met while you were starring on "All My Children." Looking back, what was the best part about being on the show? What did you identify most with about your character "Simone"? What do you miss most about the show? Best part…in all honesty was being fortunate enough to have a good paying job during what our country suffered after 9/11, during our world economic crisis.

Identify most…"Simone’s" boy craziness! Lol…Her undying desire to be loved for who she truly was…

Miss most…Our family, seeing everyone everyday. "All My Children" was and still is a family of exceptional talent on and off camera, cast, production, and crew. The relationships carry strong today.

8. What have you learned about yourself from being a performer? To listen before I talk! Seriously, our craft should be called "Reacting" not Acting. My father taught me no matter what career path I chose, you are a success if you get out of bed every morning because you love what you do.

I feel extremely blessed to make a living doing what I love to do…and remain thankful for each and everyone of you reading Adam’s interview. For without you, the fan faithful and your support I’d be out of a job.

Terri Ivens NOH8, Photo Credit: Adam Bouska9. In addition to being a performer, you are a mother. How do you balance being a mom and working? Does being a mother influence the roles you audition for? Balance…what every parent strives for. How do we put in the extra hours to bring home extra pay to put dinner on the table and give 100% of our patience to our most treasured gift…our kids? It’s a miracle. Truly, it takes a village of friends, neighbors, and outside activities with parent participation. Being a mama is my first job…emotionally, spiritually…even if that simply means to stop for 30 seconds and return her text! Oy!

Influence roles: Absolutely for the upcoming movie I have slated for 2013 check out and

10. What's the best advice you've ever received? Susan Lucci regarding her children: "Never miss a birthday!"

11. If you could dream about anyone while you sleep, who would it be? That’s some dangerous water, Adam! LOL

12. Favorite way to spend your day off? Pajama day with my daughter, eating, snuggled up in bed, watching movies and playing games!

13. Favorite skin care product? Cindy Crawford’s Meaningful Beauty – Glowing Serum.

14. Favorite way to stay in shape? No joke 20 minutes, once a week. You asked how I balance? This keeps me bikini ready! Incredible!

15. If you could have any super power, which one would you choose? To Fly!!! Absolutely!
