Call Answered: I've been a fan of Nick Cearley's for a while now. I got to interview him in 2013 when he starred in Bucks County Playhouse's "Rocky Horror." Now, Nick is going from one cult classic to another as he stars in Portland Center Stage's production of "Little Shop of Horrors" from September 10-October 16. It was so great catching up with Nick! We had a blast talking about "Little Shop of Horrors," life lessons, the formation of "The Skivvies," finding love, & improving his life by one percent better everyday!
Call Redialed: I first met Jeremy Kushnier a few years ago when I got to interview the cast of Bucks County's production of "Rocky Horror." Prior to "Rocky Horror," I saw Jeremy go on in the most recent Broadway revival of "Jesus Christ Superstar." It was then that I was like, wow what a voice! I'm so excited to catch up with Jeremy as he is keeping audiences guessing as to whodunit in America's longest running comedy, "Shear Madness," which has descended on New York City, playing at New World Stages!
Call Answered: The first time I was introduced to the music of Aaron Weinstein was during one of Linda Lavin's concerts. To say I was blown away by Aaron's talent would be an understatement. It's an honor to interview this virtuoso about his appearance in "Piaf 100: A Centennial Celebration," celebrating the life and music of French songstress Edith Piaf alongside stars from Broadway, London’s West End, Jazz, Cabaret, and Rock ‘n’ Roll on December 19 (Edith's actual 100th birthday) at Town Hall in NYC!
Call Answered: I have seen Billy Mitchell's "Villain: DeBlanks" at least half a dozen times. This hilarious show is part Madlibs, part whodunit, but always resulting in an evening of laughter and fun! With a rotating cast, the audience helps figure out who killed "Phillip DeBlanks," making EVERY show different! Now "Call Me Adam" gets inside the head of Billy Mitchell to learn how he created this thrilling show as well as the show's producer, Tony Nominee Brenda Braxton. "Villain: DeBlanks" plays the first Sunday of every month at The Triad in New York City, the next installment being Sunday, December 6 at 7:30pm!
Call Redialed: John Kevin Jones' one-man show of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," presented by Summoners Ensemble Theatre is returning for its third smash year! John Kevin and I talked about "A Christmas Carol" last year, but it was wonderful to catch up with him about this year's run! This year we talked about keeping the show fresh, ghosts of Christmas past, and holiday traditions! "A Christmas Carol" is returning to Merchant's House from December 10-24!
Call Redialed: I was first introduced to Ginger Minj, who many of you will remember from Season 7 of "RuPaul's Drag Race," four months ago when her show "Crossdress for Christ" was returning to The Laurie Beechman Theatre. Well, a lot can happen in four months and it's wonderful, during this festive time of year, to catch up with Ginger as we talk about her debut holiday show "The Ginger Minj & Friends CHRISTMA-HANNU-KWANZAA-KA Spectacular!" which will play at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC December 10-13!
Call Redialed: It's great getting to catch up with Latin singer and Venezuelan theatre star Migguel Anggelo as we discuss his new show "Another Son of Venezuela," directed by OBIE award winner David Drake, which explores the very personal immigration themes of love, loss, family, and national pride as well as the challenges of claiming an authentic identity in the "land of the free." Migguel's immigration journey is quite fascinating. "Another Son of Venezuela" will play Joe's Pub on Tuesday, December 1 at 7pm!

Call Answered: I first met Carol Linnea Johnson when I saw "The Full Monty" on Broadway in 2001. It's great to have the chance to really sit down with Carol and catch up! Carol is starring in Three Day Hangover's re-imaged version of Moliere's "Tartuffe!" In this production, this play is set against a political backdrop which makes it outrageous, up-to-the-minute contemporary and hilarious. "Tartfuffe!" plays at McAlpin Hall at West Park Church in NYC thru November 21! Show time is 8pm!
Call Redialed: I was introduced to singer, songwriter, and actor Matt Zarley in 2012 with the release of his album "Change Begins With Me." I was taken by Matt's honesty and introspective look at love and personal growth with this album and that was enough to make me a fan. It was great to now catch up with Matt and talk about his new project "hopefulROMANTIC," a wonderfully innovative short film about love, relationships, and getting back on your feet! In addition to Matt, hopefulROMANTIC stars Chuck Saculla as "The Boyfriend," Jolie Jenkins as "The Best Friend," and social media/pop culture icon, Star Trek's George Takei as "The Mentor."

Call Answered: The New York Pops conducted by master maestro Steven Reineke always puts on a great show with top notch talent to perform with them! This next concert, entitled "Sophisticated Ladies," is no exception! Joining The Pops' are Tony Award nominee Montego Glover, Broadway's Capathia Jenkins, & singer/actress Sy Smith. Call Answered: I love to make people laugh and put a smile on their face. I also enjoy someone who can make me laugh out loud. When Australian comedian Joel Creasey was presented to me, I took a gander at his work. What I found was a bright, young, fresh comedian, who made me laugh out loud! I'm so excited to have had the chance to interview Joel about his start in comedy and upcoming show "The Hurricane" at the Laurie Beechman Theatre from November 13-15! In this show Joel recounts his time spent on the reality TV show "I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!" (opposite Maureen "Marcia Brady" McCormick), Hollywood (where he was invited to a gay celebrity orgy), and, of course, across Australia.

Kacie Sheik came onto my radar when she was starring in Broadway's "Hair." Now, I get to talk to both these stars about their new show "Songbird," which also stars Tony Nominee Kate Baldwin! "Songbird" is a show about dreams, ambition, love, and heartbreak as a fading country star coming home to Nashville to help the son she abandoned launch his own music career. Call Answered: When I was growing up, there was no YouTube, Spotify, Pandora, iTunes, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram for artists to promote themselves. Today, the way to discover music is vastly different. Attesting to that is the way I discovered singer/songwriter Mathieu Blue. His Facebook posting promoting his upcoming concert at The Metropolitan Room in NYC on October 26 came into my Facebook feed. What I discovered through this interview, is what I thought after listening to his music, there is a really talented, insightful, and passionate guy behind those good looks! Just from listening to his EP, I can already tell this show is going to rock!
