Conference Call: Meredith Baxter and Michael Gross: "Love Letters" at Bucks County Playhouse + "Family Ties"

Call Answered: I first heard about Brad Zimmerman's show "My Son The Waiter, A Jewish Tragedy" when it had its NYC run in 2014, but never got to see it. I'm so grateful for second chances because when I called, Brad answered. "My Son The Waiter, A Jewish Tragedy" is the hilarious & inspiring story about the grit & passion it takes to "make it" as an artist & the sweet rewards that come from never giving up! "My Son The Waiter, A Jewish Tragedy" will play Bucks County Playhouse from 3/23-4/9!
Call Redialed: As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I adore Jonathan Tolins' "Buyer & Cellar." Nick Cearley had been on my radar, but it wasn't until Bucks County Playhouse's 2013 production of "Rocky Horror" that I got to interview him. What a great 360 moment now to interview Nick yet again about another show he's doing at Bucks County Playhouse. "Buyer & Cellar" is a hilarious play about an underemployed actor working for Barbra Streisand. It will play Bucks County Playhouse November 5-26!
Call Answered: When I heard Michele Lee was bringing her cabaret show "Nobody Does It Like Me, The Music of Cy Coleman" to Bucks County Playhouse, I set my compass to provide Michele the perfect coordinates to talk about this show. But as usual, I took us slightly off-course first to "Knots Landing" then to telling the "Tale of the Allergist's Wife" and onto life lessons from Cy Coleman! "Nobody Does It Like Me, The Music of Cy Coleman" will be presented Friday, 10/14, Bucks County Playhouse, 8pm in New Hope, PA!
It has been five years since Charles Busch's "The Divine Sister" ran Off-Broadway. I saw that production at least 4-5 times. It was so funny, so well written, and 100% entertaining! Now, most of the original New York cast (Charles Busch, Julie Halston, Alison Fraser, Jennifer Van Dyck, and Jonathan Walker) is reviving the show at Bucks County Playhouse, with the addition of newcomer Erin Maguire. "The Divine Sister" plays at Bucks County Playhouse through August 13!
In my newest video interview, "Call Me Adam" went inside the rehearsal studio in New York City with the cast of Bucks County Playhouse's production of "Rocky Horror." Joining me was Broadway's Nick Adams, Kevin Cahoon, Nick Cearley, Jen Cody, and Jeremy Kushiner.
