Adam's Call: For British satirist Melinda Hughes, the trip over to NYC from England was well worth it because her new cabaret show "Cheers Darling" is fantastic! What more can I say about Melinda's show? Just go see it, she's on the "right track baby!" Melinda has one more performance, tomorrow, Friday, 1/20 at 9:30pm at The Metropolitan Room in NYC!
Adam's Call: Mathieu Blue's "Merry Christmas To You" at The Metropolitan Room was merry and bright! The holiday season should be all about smiles, laughter, and fun. That is exactly what you get when you attend a Mathieu Blue holiday show! His soothing voice, heartfelt and fun songs, really put me in the mood for the holidays! Here's to making memories and music!
Adam's Call: Mathieu Blue "Falling Into Blue at The Metropolitan Room": 2 Thumbs Up: I was completely blown away by Mathieu Blue tonight at his Metropolitan Room show "Falling Into Blue." Let me just say, I fell, deep and hard for Mathieu's talent and vocals! This guy is the real deal! The hour plus show went by in the blink of an eye, Mathieu sure left me wanting more!

To get to hear Linda Lavin sing is a treat, but to get to see Linda Lavin sing live is a gift. That's exactly what I thought while attending her CD release party, at the Metropolitan Room in NYC, for her debut CD "Possibilities," released on the Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight record label. "Possibilities" is a strong debut and I hope it's just the beginning of a long recording career! Linda's singing voice needs to be heard and let's hope there will always be a live show to along with that singing.
If you are looking for a CD to relax you after a long day or take with you on vacation, then I would highly recommend picking up Linda Lavin's debut CD "Possibilities." Inspired from Linda's nightclub act, with the title coming from "You've Got Possibilities," which Linda sang in the Broadway production of Hal Prince's "It's A Bird, It's A Plane, It's Superman," Linda has recorded an album made for everyone.
Once again I was put into the holiday spirit when I attended Hedda Lettuce's hilarious, smart, and stupendous holiday show "Lettuce Rejoice" on December 18, 2011 at the Metropolitan Room in NYC. With her signature comedy style and original parody songs, Hedda easily won the sold-out crowd over from the moment she took to the stage!
On June 16, 2011, I saw Theatre World and Drama League Award Winner Jason Danieley and his band The Frontier Heroes at The Metropolitan Room in NYC. Jason's vocals are strong, as usual, and together with the band blend exceptionally well! Jason creates an atmosphere that is very relaxed and comfortable where you feel like you are at home with the band.
