Adam's Call: Maxine Linehan: "One: The Songs of U2": Beautiful Day
On March 16, Maxine Linehan will be returning to Feinstein's/54 Below with her fantastic show One: The Songs of U2. It certainly was a "Beautiful Day" when I saw this show in October 2017.
Maxine's voice was/is a perfect fit for U2's music. It was evident how much Maxine loves this band. Maxine truly made these songs her own, as if this music was written just for her. Maxine's voice is powerful. Healing. Divine! The emotion behind each tune hit hard because Maxine had a personal story attached to every song. It was those tales that made the evening that much more intimate.
Maxine has a way to fully engage her audience, making us want more. Even in a sold-out room, Maxine knows how to connect to each person like they are the only one in the room. The hour concert went by so quickly. I could have easily stayed there another two.
This concert was so great that I'm thrilled Maxine is doing it again so more people can see this concert & those who have seen it, can enjoy it again! One: The Songs of U2 returns to Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street, between Broadway & 8th Avenue) on Friday, March 16 at 9:30pm! Click here for tickets!
