Adam's Call: "Empanada Loca" A recipe for success: Aaron Mark's "Empanada Loca," written for and starring two-time Tony Award nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega, is another must see show! From the moment the lights went out & the rumbles of the subway train were heard, I was taken into "Dolores'" world & was kept there the whole time which is a testament to the powerful performance Daphne is giving in this show as well as to Aaron's writing! "Empanada Loca," presented by Labyrinth Theater Company, runs thru Nov. 8 at The Bank Street Theater in NYC!

Adam's Call: Dina Martina: "Flat & Lacking" is full of life! Dina Martina is unlike any performer you've seen! Dina's dark humor is not for everyone, but if you are open to going places that you wonder if it's okay to laugh, then Dina Martina is the perfect show for you to attend!
Adam's Call: Olivia Newton-John: Summer Nights at The Flamingo Las Vegas: Magic! Olivia is in tip-top shape performing her catalog of music from mega hit songs, to her country roots, to a special "Xanadu" and "Grease" suite, as well as some of my favorite Olivia songs that were not big hits. From "Physical" to "Xanadu" to "I Honestly Love You," this was one rockin' concert!
Adam's Call: What a week it's been so far here in Las Vegas! I came here to celebrate my 40th Birthday, but I had the honor to leave my 30s on a high note, taking in one of Vegas' biggest shows, "Steve Wynn's ShowStoppers!" "Steve Wynn's ShowStoppers" is the perfect feel good show! You get the glitz and glamour of Vegas along with some of the biggest numbers in Broadway history!

Adam's Call: JANKA: A-20398: I Say See It! There is a powerful new Off-Broadway show happening in NYC entitled JANKA: A-20398 written by playwright Oscar Speace and starring Janice Noga. This show recounts Oscar's mom's liberation and time spent in the Nazi concentration camps. While most people will say I don't want to see a show like this, I say, see it!
Adam's Call: The trip out to George Street Playhouse to see Emmy and Tony Award nominated actor John Tartaglia in "Buyer & Cellar" was definitely worth the trip!
Adam's Call: Sutton Foster: New York Pops: One Night Only: A Night I Will Remember Forever. Sutton was on fire! Her voice filled Carnegie Hall well beyond the rafters! From the moment Sutton took the stage, she captivated the audience all the way through until the very end and that still was too short of a time to be at this concert.
Adam's Call: The New York Pops' Holiday Concert: Kelli and Matthew: Home for the Holidays was a Winter Wonderland! The New York Pops Holiday Concert always puts me a smile on my face. This year's concert was no exception! It was a real treat to see Matthew Morrison and Kelli O'Hara together again! Separately, they are fantastic, but united, they are something unreal!
